Depending оn thе issue, уоu саn decide іf ѕоmеthіng іѕ а scam оn thе spot, оr уоu mіght nееd help—and thаt соuld tаkе ѕеvеrаl days.
Secondly, scammers manipulate уоu bу ‘pushing уоur buttons’ tо produce thе automatic response thеу want. It’s nоthіng tо dо wіth уоu personally, it’s tо dо wіth thе wау individuals іn society аrе wired uр emotionally аnd socially. It’s bесаuѕе thе response іѕ automatic thаt people fall fоr thе scam. My name’s are Joseph Jacques Charles Bouchard born in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada. I enrolled with the Canadian Forces in 1978 under the Officer Candidate Training Plan. After helicopter training, I qualified in 1980 as a helicopter pilot. I had a long career in Tactical Aviation within Canadian Forces Air Command, which included flying positions in several squadrons, command of 444 Tactical Helicopter Squadron at Lahr in Germany, and command of 1 Wing Kingston. I have served in the United States as Deputy Commander for Continental NORAD Region and was standing duty at Tyndall Air Force Base conducting Air Operation on September 11, 2001. I later become Deputy Commander of 1 Canadian Air Division, and from August 2007 to June 2009, Deputy Commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command, receiving promotion to Lieutenant-General on taking up the appointment. In 2009, he assumed the position of Deputy Commander, Allied Joint Force Command Naples.While continuing to serve at Naples, on 25 March 2011, I was named Commander of Operation Unified Protector, NATO’s military intervention in Libya I in graduate of Canadian Forces Staff School; Canadian Land Forces Command and Staff College; Canadian Forces Command and Staff College; the National Strategic Studies Course; the Combined Forces Air Component Commander Course, Maxwell Air Force Base; the Generals, Flag Officers and Ambassadors Course at the NATO Defense College; and the Senior Executives National and International Security Program at Harvard University.I also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Manitoba…. I had a very intense correspondence with a man who goes by the name of Micheal Frances. His Facebook page showed Let Gen Charlie Bouchard, there was a photo of 2 little girls who I thought were his grandchildren. This man was so intense that he asked me to marry him as soon as his contract was up with the UN in Syria. He stressed how much money he had and would buy me my own home anywhere I asked. I grew to look forward to our talks. One night he video conferenced me. There was no audio, but the man looked just like Charlie Bouchard. After I asked him to buy me a car, he blocked me. I was hurt since he claimed I meant so much to him. I found him on Linkden. He blocked my request. So who is the scammer? Does Charlie have PTSD and now into playing sick games? Does Charlie have a doppelganger? I was starting to fall for Charlie and now I have been duped by him. I will say that his sentence structure did not reflect that of a well educated man.
I am on the dating site, SCOUT. HE chatted with me briefly. Then told me he was Lt. GENERAL CHARLES BOUCHAND and owned a jet.
I informed him that he was not GENERAL BOUCHAND….that he was a scammer. No no no, he said. Video chat me…….I told him no no no. I told him I wrote to the LT. GENERAL and he had not contacted me. He totally insisted that he was the real deal. Right. I knew he was a scammer and told him I would report him.
Finally I told him to leave me alone. Then I blocked him.
It’s hard to tell who is scamming us. Are these people really looking for a nice woman to love? Maybe a quarter of them, if that. If they can’t send me a copy of their drivers license or passport I refuse to talk with them.
I’m so sorry you had to go through this. Do your research. Ask questions. Look them up on Facebook.
If you have doubts then trust your gut.
To: Elizabeth Mitchell, great advice. I never though of asking for I.D. I have conversed with Micheal Francis who had appropriated all of Gen. Bouchard’s information. I was unfamiliar with the military scammer. I did my research and discovered that there are two Facebook pages named Charles Bouchard. They each claim to be the general. They both accepted friend requests from me. They both blocked me after I told them that I knew what was happening. I admit that I ignored red flags because I was so swept away It won’t happen again.
Elizabeth, thank you for your response. I received a friend request from Micheal Francis who had appropriated all of Gen. Bouchard’s information. When I discovered it was a scam, I reported him to Facebook. I then found 2 Facebook pages claiming to be Gen. Bouchard. I never met him but he doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy who would even have a Facebook page. I don’t know if the General is in Syria with the UN, or if he is actually at Lockheed Martin in Ottawa. I would write this off as nothing if somebody who looked just like the General hadn’t Skyped me last week. So I wonder, has the General lost his marbles or does he have a twin? Do you know where he is?
