3. Hi there, the scammer is under the name of Commander Terry Hooper(Ramos) not Sgt Aaron Ramos. The pictures and profile are on Facebook. He has been trying to scam me for a lot of money this past six weeks but I haven’t given him a penny nor do I intend to. I feel sorry for any vulnerable woman. I haven’t unfriendly him yet because I don’t want to alert him until I see if I can get him caught. That’s the exact same pictures he’s been sending to me, making out he loves God and swearing on his daughters life. I didn’t fall for it. The lies were unbelievable. I had a good ideas he was fake. Could you please try and do something about this Vermin. He gave me an a dress in Nigeria to send him money, that says it all really.

4. The man above Sgt Aaron Ramos, is on Facebook under Terry Hooper (Ramos) trying to con me for a lot of money. He hasn’t succeeded and I haven’t unfriendly him yet as I want to see if something can be done about him and prevent these lowlife from doing it to some vulnerable woman

I am just sitting back and seeing where is is leading this thing saying he is due $5800000.00 and it is waiting for it to come through. He was wanting me to move to Texas and divorce my husband and that will never happen. I think someone needs to get on this and do something about this man and other that are doing this.

I have had the same thing, started January 2016 as person in a prayer warrior groups and Christian/Military related person that I have several family members including my own father who was a true USARMY GI SPECIAL FORCES GREEN BERET IN VIETNAM! This person and I talked and my intention was as prayer person for him and his whole unit located in the battle zone right now special missions in Suria/Damascus Peace Unit keeping peace over there. Very very slick operation this is, with ties in San Diego that is his 1 of many I presume, places where he asks you to send stuff and the person on other end is with American Red Cross group that comes and visits their camps and sometimes things from home to the soldiers on the forefront. Days turned to weeks, he sent me -6-7 pictures, and the main one he used for his profile page on his first Facebook account that he was using and uses under these other fake names. I took his name and did a search on google one day because as a real Christian Woman of strong faith, I did on my part, pray for a real active unit over there on peace keeping mission in the middle of the front warczone currently being engaged in battle.! To my horror when I googled his name , I scrolled down and up the different too search engines in google that came up with Sgt. Ramos! Well you know the answer! There he is on your site, scammers. Com, a special video someone made with all his pictures and scammer text written on top of the main pictures and the story of how his pictures and identity has been stolen back to 2009! And still circulates to this day very actively engaging date sites, date military men, Facebook, and God only knows the others. I have a file of everything pictures, then turned romance on me ( tried to). Then requested I send support via western union to woman in Turkey LisaHernandez, who would give the money to his father James Richard( which he sent letter emails from him with request for money to help the missionary orphanage he is building over there) . I did not send any money. I told him several times thru talking, praying with him, sending him scripture pictures and quotes he likes in Facebook, sharing different quotes of the day, beautiful pictures because he said it helped keep him strong, having a purpose being there and reason to come back to America! He began his ( I am in Love with you routine) I let him continue his fake ruse and story and then this last week they went on special mission( military personnel never tell their missions but he tried so very hard to convince me) said had special access to control room with his buddy and he looked forward to always talking with me as a reason to have communication and thankful prayer from such a beautiful woman caring so much for our US MILITARY PEOPLE over there and thanked me so much that I did this for him. This last week is the bigger. I already told him that at this point I saw where Sgt. Ramos identity used and that all his pictures were stolen and being used for scams on all kinds of sites!(His responses did not concern him that after so many years that a group was still using his identity)??? And more of he needed someone back here for support prayer and scriptures from the bible, etc… Then he popped the love stuff, stating he wanted to take leave and come home( that his current tour he has been over there 18 mos approximately). He NEVER RESPONDED LIKE SOMEONE WOULD THAT THEIR IDENTITY STOLEN AND BEING USED ON SO MANY SITES?( I gave him ample time and talks to try to see if an appropriate shock reaction or yes he knows about his identity being stolen and he never had concern like military people would on the front lines of battle) he began a daily ritual of contacting me, sending me love poetry and I am the best! He has now fallen in love with me and wants to start procedures to come back home but I had to follow procedure) I went along with his story. Then all of a sudden, fake email from commanding officer requesting that he can take ( Fiancé leave) but a form needed to be gotten and forward to them from here for this process to work out!!! And yes, you guessed it, all of a sudden with letter from ( FAKE) commanding officer over there that I need to do following procedures to pay for his travel and fees upon needing to return to his tour after his visit( military leave) was over in the amount of over $800 and to be western union to a man in Canada this time( this network is using all Hispanic names and even calling on phone and other correspondence or care packages, thru Hispanic in San Diego california( supposed all Red Cross volunteers helping the US MILITARY MEN CAUSE) I denied request to email document notifying them that I know there is no such forms that have to be paid for! ( with which I got insulting letter back browbeating tactics tried on me, do I know all of the military command procedures and how dare I tell them how to handle all of this) I never sent or paid🇲🇶, I said well I’ll just wait and he can come home like all other military when leave up( oh they all getting so angry because I will not obey like a good Christian would!! Ha!(GODS BEEN WITH ME EVERYSTEP OF THIS)!!!

   Then the big secret mission has happened this last week and the whole unit( amazing this is) came into a huge mass of loot and money from Isis control are and the commander higher up allowed all in unit to have a certain amount of recovered goods to send home to USA immediately thru shipping company of which I have been sent filled out, very official looking paperwork! I must say they are very good at their scheme!!!! I said, ok your coming back home and wanting to send things starting to come home and this is the first of many( he and I talked and it was to play out that the case was locked with combo and when I received it, because he had yet another military woman this time, take to Istanbul Turkey for all of them and sent out same way. I waited to see how it played out ! He would text did I get anything from DBS SHIPPING CO letter yet with instructions?( I said yes and they emailed me it) had just verifying stuffing
   On it me being the benefactor of such box, him and another lady military woman being the deliverers of the box from point A to point B and ultimately to me here in US!) of which he will give me combo to open, take out all money needed to buy a new car, transport to Colorado immediately, secure hotel to have place to stay and ready to get his call for this! Then( yep you guessed it) DBS SHIPPING CO. Sends me email that package is ready to come for COM COD AMOUNT OF 3800.00!some odd change ant and I need to wire funds to pay for since was way they process there! I said no that any monies paid to ship anything to US IS Pid by sender not receiver!!
   So now I am at this week, after a two week battle with pneumonia(truth by the way? ) and I sent back response to DBS SHIPPING CO. Advising them that sender has to pay for belongings to come back ( of which how did they come up with such huge amount of fee if was private shipment locked as Sgt. Ramos didn’t want anyone to see or take claim to his portion of the Units fortune all split up in the amounts of hundreds even millions amount of money! All his attention and care tuned into that lock box and he coveted it more than me with instruction thatvI had been to military base and have sat down with officer there and verifying the proper protocol filmed all military forces on tour and how and who they send things thru) and the military would never ask thru a military man to do such things!!! I cc’d copy of letter email back to them, copy to Sgt Ramos, and myself.
   So this is where it stands, and he is trying very limited contact with me now! Big arguments over how I am sentencing him to death, how everything in trunk is mine, but portion send to orphanage!!).!

   When I said NO, I had no such money to pay for this and shouldn’t have to and his lie about all others in unit have been given leave, and only him to honor, protect left, every one else’s wife’s paid and the men are coming home for visit, which I insisted on a fast car to but with money in trunk which he said yes! get a new car with cash! Meet him in Colorado Springs us military base there, .when he got off the plane that , we will drive straight to Las Vegas🎗to Las Vegas get married and now I am not obeying him and paying for this!!! It’s his lifetime stuff and etc🌼🌼🌼at me and and I’m walking away from my life!!!( not true you know where this is going) I put it all out on the table telling him I know about all of the fraudulent scam techniques and stuff and I went to own closest military base, talked to military Officer and he verified all this was ( pardon language here BULLSHIT)!and a mile high!!! So I went back to Sgt. Ramos that day told him everything, and the accusations and saying I wanted him to be killed and how could I with what he has done for me and us and put his life on the line and I must be praying for him/ them all to be dead!! 2 hours of interrogation began with me yesterday, Thursday 17,2016, of which every time he starts this manipulation game I shut him down. Well the end result is he has pulled some of his fake pictures out there and he is done with me! All I ever wanted to do was kill one of our USAMERICAN SOLDIERS or him (WHICH. IS TOTALLY OPPOSITE of who and what REPRESENTED MYSELF Always on here! I have this transcript and all pictures and info I can give about him to help get Sgt Ramos pictures back home to the USA and wanting to marry me, build me a log cabin and live the rest of our life!!! ( well because of my relented )

   Less NOT GIVING IN TO THE MANIPULATION GAMES AND TELLING HIM THAT I AM NOT A STUPID WOMAN, AND I AM MILITARY RELATED FOR 79 years and with many of my relatives dying over in wars overseas too! Instead of him responding like a person would do, that he would wire transfer his money for his life, he tried once more to brow beat me of which I gave direct answers ( NO MANIPULATION AND ACCUSATION TACTICS WILL WORK WITH ME BECAUSE I AM NOT STUPID!!) he ended the conversation saying he needed to focus and could not get involved with this something that his emotions and concentration to the job at hand that he does which I agreed!!!)I told him in final sentences that the real SGT Aaron Ramos, where ever he was and with what ever unit he is with, that I will still pray for our frontline units and Sgt. Ramos safety because that is what Christian missions is all about! Loving people, praying for them, and helping them! I know this is long. Please advise me where I am to sent all of this together to every dating site, Facebook, yahoo, LinkedIn, Google site out here! This job is massive and I’m only able to do a little at a time! This I hope will lead SGT. Ramos to a peaceful life where he can, live a peaceful, safe, God covered rest of his life!!! Thank you for your time!!    • Can’t believe this scammer is still getting away with this, he gave me the same story as yourself Vanessa. Put me through he’ll all over the Xmas period. Then I noticed a few of my friends names popping up on his Facebook. Needles to say I warned them all. We live in Glas, Scotland. He didn’t get a penny from me however. I googled military scammers, and yes his name and picture popped up. I then blocked him from Facebook. Yes, God was with me when I wasn’t conned. It’s all the other women and his next victims I feel so sorry for because there is a lot of vulnerable people in the world, wish I could do more but don’t know how to go about it.    • Kathy the best thing to do is to stay away from them. Don’t email them any info or contact them by phone. I have had one Mark Ramos trying to contact me even this morning and I just don’t give them the satisfaction. These people are good at what they do and will do all they can to pull you into their world. Now if he has a temper and has threatened you the best thing is to report this to your law enforcement so they can have this on file. Stay safe and remember give no info to these people.

I blocked him yesterday and reported him to Facebook, but Facebook said they weren’t going to do anything as he isn’t breaking their Community Standards! 10. He goes by Ramos Gilbert William , but using Sgt. Aaron Ramos pictures. Email address ramos_william02@yahoo.com. I even have an agents information to send things to and it is in the US. Says he lives in Miami, Florida, has an 8 yrs old son that a nanny takes care of for him and is divorced. Says he is in Kaboul on a mission with his team. Has asked for money to be sent to his agent and that I need to be careful with his agents information. Very charming but I feel he has a bad temper. I hope someone can check him out further for me and advise me on what to do.

    He is telling his victims that he is a Major General in US army working under a UN mission in Iraq.

14. I am glad that all the women have stuck together by putting it stories out there…I want to say thank you because of ur experiences u have kept me from making a huge mistake. So sad law enforcement hasn’t found this guy and stopped him. I only talked to him a few days before I got suspicious. I would ask him military related questions and he evaded answering by making other clever remarks. Thank God that even I am naive I had the smarts to goggle him. Sgt.Aaron Ramos from Austin TX led me here. Thanks ladies for keeping me from getting hurt and broke.
